Kyrbyr is a small steading of Vikings who have settled in the Hebrides, in about 950 CE. (Our name means "Cow Town" - a reflection of the many dairys & cow related activity in our mundane location.) Of course, in the Hebrides, there aren't a lot of cows... we imagine it was a near sighted one eyed lookout from the ship who announced that the island had lots of cows and named the steading... somehow, it stuck....

 

Currently, we have 9 adult members, and three little ones.

Kyrbyr meets the 2nd Saturday of each month, with a rotating location, so be sure to call or e-mail for info and directions. All meetings are Workshop/Potluck, so bring food to share, and your favorite beverage-this is a family activity, there are children present, please use discretion with alcohol.
